First fishing trip, a success! Did well on the ride up, slept a little while on the way home. Was happy... (And hungry!) when we finally made it back to the cabin! 

Took a little evening soak after our big day of fishing and riding at Zims hot springs. This little guy didn't last too long though,  he was exhausted! 

6 month check up.. And more swimming!

Maddax had his 6 month checkup today! Went really well, even though he got shots, only cried for a minute!

He is growing so fast!! Weighed 18lbs 14oz, measured 26 inches long. His head is nice and big, in the 80th percentile.... He's growing a giant brain in there ;) 

we took him to the YMCA to go swimming after his appointment, he forgot all about those shots really fast ;) 

First haircut!

Before.... The tail was getting so long it started to curl! And the back of his hair had fallen out on one side only... Making for a nice little combover on the top. It was adorable... But time for a trim! Never would have thought this baby would need a haircut by six months!! 

The finished product at the end of attempt #1.... This mama was a little too scared to do much more, had to sleep on it before deciding to take off a little more the next day! 

Day #2 of first haircut... Trimmed up the sides, took a little more off the back and top and ended up with an adorable little fohawk! He looks so much older, and so blonde! Was a very sad moment to cut off the last of the dark newborn hair.... But look at this cute little man!! 

Happy Saturday :)

Mama left baby and daddy at home to run a race in a tutu! Was really fun, we got a little lost and ran the wrong route... But a little adventure is always more fun!

Came home to this wild, crazy, happy baby!

First swim lesson!

First day of swim lessons at AquaTots!! Mommy held up two swimsuits and let him choose- he liked the lifesaver speedo the best ;)

A family event- got to swim around with both mommy and daddy and get used to the big pool. Did amazing for his first time, even went totally underwater! Not too happy about getting water in his nose but he did pretty darn good for his first time ever. Didn't stop kicking his legs the entire time. Can't wait to go back!

Happy Mother's Day!!

We spent Mother's Day in Twin Falls and had a BBQ with Na, Papa Tom and Tutu. Played outside most of the time in the swing and walker, and Maddax had sweet potatoes while we had salmon and ice cream cake :) He got mommy a new necklace with his birthstone, delivered to her in bed when she woke up :) Sweetest day ever!
